JOHN DEERE SERVICE ADVISOR 4.1 COMPATIBILITY SOFTWARE UPGRADE
If used on combines prior to PIN 715101, a dealer-installed software upgrade (Service ADVISOR™ diagnostics system) is required for the combine. NOTE: Ground contacting height sensors for automatic height sensing when cutterbar is locked in rigid mode. Less header height sensing for rigid mode These changes will go into effect in model year 2023 on the 630F and 635F. If the height sensing option is selected, it will come assembled on the header. NOTE: Beginning in model year 2022 the 620F, 622F, and 625F will be built height sensor ready. If the combine is equipped with the lateral tilt feeder house option, then the feeder house will move laterally to maintain a parallel cut height to the ground. If the sensors indicate the cut height is too high, then the feeder house will lower. The sensors give feedback to the combine, and if the sensors are lower to the ground than the set point, the feeder house will raise until the sensors feedback is at the operator’s set point. The operator sets a target stubble height from the cab of the combine. The sensors are compatible with combines equipped with the lateral tilt feeder house. The combines must be equipped with header height sensing.

A cylinder with an internal spring keeps the following arm in contact with the ground to maintain an accurate cut height. The sensors are adjustable to allow up to 330 mm (13 in.) of maximum cut height.Height sensors for rigid mode on the 600F are located in three positions, right, left and middle of the header, to ensure accurate stubble length.Using height sensing in rigid mode allows the 600F to maintain stubble height much like flex mode does to follow the ground. Header height sensors for rigid mode are an attachment for the 620F, 622F, 625F, 630F, and 635F HydraFlex™ Platforms, giving the header the ability to operate automatic header height sensing from on the ground to 330 mm (13 in.) off the ground.
